tea and coffee

Just curious I've read in a lot of places you can have 200mg of caffeine but when I asked my doctor he said that's a bit silly and if I had around 6/7 cups a day that would do no harm at all, just curious as to why tea and coffee seems to be limited in the things I read compared to what my doc has told me

I used to drink nothing but tea everyday and my baby is growing perfectly fine...

Caffeine is really bad in excess over 200 grams a day will stunt the growth of your baby i heard 200grams is one coffee drink decaf instead which still has some but not as much....lets be smart why risk it its only for 9 months...anf ive read a lot only and googled it also be careful with certsin teas first off the caffeine second some herbs are bad for baby do your research

I think it'd silly too. Of course too much caffeine isn't good for anyone not just pregnant prople. Caffeine isn't necessarily bad for you. Just too much is. Don't be drink a 12 pack of cokes every day lol. Caffeine with Tylenol always got rid of really bad headaches I had early on. My doctor said it was completely fine just make sure you are also drinking enough water in the day. I just think some people are way too worried about every little thing. Good luck!!
