terrible heartburn!!!

Can I take a prilosec to knock it out of the way tonight and call Dr tomorrow morning? Because Tums aren't working and I have extreme heartburrn please please help :((((

I had it really bad with this pregnancy and my first... my first everything stopped working so my doctor prescribed me with a very high mg of zantac and this time around my doctor put me on a very high mg of prevacid.. the only thing that ***** about the prevacid is that you gotta take 30 mins before breakfast and it makes you nauseous but it works all day long.. for sure talk to your doctor cause what they can prescribe works 20x better then what you get over the counter..

I feel ur pain i always feel like my throat an chest are on fire i was using tums but i couldnt take it Dr gave me something stronger ... Hope they get u something an u feel better

you can take prilosec. my doctor suggested it to me for how bad my heartburn is.

You can take zantac, it works great!!
