I got mine off craigslist . com when I was 11 weeks or so. I paid 50$ for it. Its a great peice of mind. Anita
I agree, if I didn't have 2 m/c's I probably wouldn't even have thought about it. It is just reassuring during the early months. =)
I bought mine, best money I ever spent! I listened faithfully every night from 13 weeks to 6 months! Now I occassionally pull it out but she moves so much that it's hard to keep the HB. BUT she is moving constant so I don't really feel the need! I love it! I would highly reccomend to anyone to invest in one, or rent one!
If I hadn't had a m/c before I don't think I would ever have rented one. It's just really nice not having to freak out between appointments. Like I said I'm really ticked that I didn't do this two weeks ago ;-)
With my son, I think I started renting it when I was 14-15 weeks. It was right after I heard his heart beat at the doc's office ( think they waited to listen for it until then because my uterus is tilted toward the back, so it would be hard to find too early on)....but I am glad this time around I have it..so maybe I can hear it by 10 weeks! =)
I'm only 6 weeks so I'm not in any rush. I never had one with my girls and never really thought about it. But everyone seems to love theirs if they have one!
I never rented one, but I have been able to listen to my son's heartbeat via stethoscope since I was 23 weeks- it is always so reassuring when you can hear it though!
I know! How far along were you when you decided to rent one? I wish I would have done this two weeks ago and spared myself of the stress.
That's so neat! I started out renting mine and ended up buying it, I loved it so much. It's an amazing sound....that heartbeat inside of you letting you know everything is okay. =)
