the great cheese debate!
My doctor told me I couldn't eat any cheese. But my friends have said hard cheese is ok just no soft cheese like feta etc. What's everyone else been told? Also I wa s told no runny egg yoke?
Most feta is pasteurized, just check labels. They just don't want you to have unpasteurized cheese.
Yea you want to stay away from soft cheeses because some use raw (unpasteurized) milk and you can get listeria from that. Cheeses like feta and brie. So unless you can check the label to make sure the milk is pasteurized, id stay away from it.
No raw eggs and cheese is okay as far as I know. I was never told anything about cheese, weird!
