36 w 2 d and no contractions

Ok so I am not trying to get my baby to come early.  But I haven't felt any brixton hicks or really contractions at all and I've been seeing others say how they have been feelinh them. Is it normal I haven't?

I am ready to hold my little bundle too. I'mgetting mmore and more anxious. Only 16 more days left and our little Greyson will be here. I hate the pressure worse than my braxton hicks. But my midwife says pressure is good it meansthat baby is starting to help momma ripen the cervix. Your that much closer to holding your bundle. I do hope you have an easy labor I do not wish a hard labor on anyone!!! Just relax mama I'm sure everything will be fine and you will do great!

I have felt lots of pressure down there. I'm just glad its ok. I was worried they had my due date wrong or something.  I'm not going to try and self induce but I am definitely ready for her to come out

Idk about everyone else but I've had contractions that I could feel since 17 weeks but I've also had some that I didn't even know were happening! Both times that I went in for a non stress test my doctor told me I was having lots of contractions, but I didn't even feel them! Lol so maybe you have had some you just didn't feel them :)

I heard bigger babies were easier to have I don't really know why or how seeing as I would think it would hurt worse but I hope you have a quick and easy delivery

That would be nice the last 3 times he checked me I was only 1cm and "soft" as my doctor puts it...  I really doubt ill have an easy labor though...  baby boy is real big and his head is huuuuge!  I'm going for another ultrasound tomorrow to size him.  The one I had at 36 weeks said he was 7 14 with a 15 and a half inch head circumference.  o_O

I'm sure you've probably had some and just rolled it off as discomfort but every pregnancy is different so I'm sure everything is just fine :)

Have y'all checked to see if yall ladies are dialated or if your cervix is softening.... I have felt braxton hicks since I was in my 2nd trimester... But I am dialating slowly so maybe y'all will have easy labor and delivery!!! Fingers crossed for you ladies.

Well have you ever had pains or even pressure down there. I would try walking walking walking to start ripening the cervix. I would ask your doc. Its probably perfectly normal.

I know she isn't ready,  I want her to stay in aslong as she needs to. The fact I haven't felt even Braxton hicks worried me. Thanks

Hun I know you are probably feeling uncomfy and hormonal. And just everything is swollen or achy but that little one isn't ready let your body do what mother nature intended. No and count your blessings that you haven't experienced braxton hicks I have had them since I am in fourth month. If you would like to start ripening your cervix. Sex will help. And walking or swimming will help get baby head down and putting pressure on cervix and your body will naturally start softening the cervix due to pressure. I am at 37 almost 38 and I am not even to a 2 yet but that just means that my little monster isn't ready. Just be patient your bundle will be here before you know it!!! Good luck.
