threatened miscarriage

Anyone had a threatened miscarriage? I had heavy bleeding and cramps today. When to the er and they couldn't find a heartbeat but I'm only 6 weeks. I see my Dr on Wednesday. Anyone else experience this??

If you go into the ER for any type of vaginal bleeding even if its just spotting and you are under 24 weeks they will say its a threatened miscarriage I asked about this and was told that since you are bleeding it could lead to a miscarriage but the cervix is closed that's why they tell you to follow up with your primary doctor to make sure the cervix is still closed I had one at 11 weeks I'm now 14 weeks 2 days just bedrest and tons of water

I had one too at 6+4 and am now 29+5:))

Their only advice was to wait it out. The bleeding has slowed down so I guess I cross my fingers for Wednesday

Yes. I have had a threatened miscarriage,  I was 5weeks and 3days. They won't find the heart beat yet but they should be able to tell by the size of the baby.
