thyroid proplem

Hey does anyone have a thyroid problem an does it effect baby if not treated. I wad told by doctor I have over active thyroid an my readings of the chart should I be worried about baby?

I have thyroid problem before my pregnancy and I will have for the rest of my life they make sure my hormones are under control and to make I take the medicine at all times that helps my body function and my baby gets what it needs from my body to keep growing

all you have to do is get medicine under control when I found out I was pregnant they told me my thyroid was not functioning at all and that is bad for the baby.. just get your medicine which is usually synthroid and you'll be fine and so will the baby

The fetus will need to be checked for goiter.
