tiger stripes

So I just noticed that I look like a tiger with all these stretch marks that literally just got worse (visablly)! I had some throughout the pregnancy but they always would fade &not come so many at a time. Well I look in the mirror to see I look like I was mauled by a animal :( ugh they just exploded everywhere. Kind of depressed but I guess im earning stripes literally. Anyone else?

I got a few on my hips! my stomach Is immaculate though. I had my baby nearly 4weeks early though. I would assume if I went to full term there would have been more. the moment I had my baby they pretty much faded to nothing mine weren't as bad. so very lucky.

This is my second pregnancy (I'm 26wks) and so far no stretch marks. I didn't get any with my first either. Everyone says that they are hereditary but I don't think so cause my mom has them really bad but both my sister and I don't. It really just depends on your skins elasticity.

They are hereditary my mom has them too. I had some before pregnancy but never this many! @ericatoday you are totally on the same page as me! I'm hoping they fade after he's born like before. But its worth every stripe as long as I get to see my blessing!

I got them with my first I gained weight super fast at the very end so that didn't help once I hit 8 months I saw one stripe and within a couple days I was attacked on my belly and love handles. After the baby they faded to skin color so I assume my belly is what it would look like to be stabbed a bunch of times. Haha but yes worth it. I hope they don't come back this time. But even though you can see I had stretchmarks I've never felt bad about them I earned them

It is hereditary but if you don't put coco butter that only makes them worst

I heard it's hereditary,  my mom never had problems with stretch marks. I will just have to see on my own when my time.comes! Which seems like its centuries later lol
