timing contractions?

Im pretty sure im having contractions now and not Braxton hicks. My stomach is tightening and then it moves downward.its every couple of minutes but they aren't really strong and painful like my braxton hicks have been this whole time. How far apart should they be before i call my doctor or go to the hospital? I live 45 minutes away from the hospital im delivering at.im 37 weeks 3 days.

I'd ring them now to see what they say. Then there tell you when to leave or call back.

I think if you have more than 6 in an hour? Or every 5 minutess
