tips please!

My husband and I are ttc. I've only been off birth control since December so...5 months. I don't know if we're doing anything wrong but what can I do to increase our chances of getting pregnant? We've been married 2 years and I'm starting to feel extra pressure from our friends and family.
I NEED HELP!

A doc will help if you have been trying for a full year. It took me 3 years to get pregnant with my son and 2 1/2 years for thispregnancy. The best advice I can give is to stop trying. Dont stress it. I tracked my ovulation as well. Good luck!

After I got off birth control it took my husband and I four years to get pregnant! They say birth control takes as many years as your were on it plus one sometimes. That's what I was told by numerous Doctors. So I told my husband let's quit thinking oh let's go have sex and make a baby. Have fun with sex again lol! After four years and we took he "trying" out I found out I was pregnant on my birthday 11+2 weeks along due jan 8.

I agree with all the ladies above, being relaxed and having fun rather than worring and stressing about it (within yourself)  will get you there.

Seriously, I tried for years and finally gave up. And I actually completely blocked it from memory. I decided it would never happen and just had fun, here I am at nine weeks and we were actually using contraceptive. Just have fun, when your body is ready it will happen.

We are both pretty healthy and active. I will definitely try the prenatal vitamins. I try not to talk about it with him because I dont want to stress him out and make him think I only want sex to have a baby. I probably just need to go with the flow!  Thanks all for the advice!

Exactly! My aunt was trying for 6 years with hormone shots every night and all sorts of stuff everything there was that you could possibly do! They gave up on trying and guess what happened 8 weeks later!!! She was pregnant! You have to stop trying so hard it just puts stress on that you don't need!

Stress doesn't help anything. You haven't really given a lot of information, but some things that can help are
Excercise. Being fit and healthy makes it easier to become pregnant.
Your husband working out will increase blood flow to his penis and increase sperm production for a small period of time.
Give up alcohol.
Give up smoking.
Don't have sex more often than every two days.
Be spontaneous. Don't make it all about having sex to make a baby. When you put pressure on yourself your body actually shuts down and doesn't work the way it should.
Have sex just to have sex. And if it happens, great.
