tmi green stool

I can't think of anything that I could have eaten that would cause this I've been having green poo for the last 3 days. Has anyone else had this? I'm 35 weeks tomorrow

Stool is actually green before its brown, as it goes thru your interestins it turns the "normal" pooh color. so it could just be passing.thru your intestinal track to fast. It happens to me often.

I just did a little research for you as I went thru this not too long ago. Antacids can change color but its typically gray colored. But since they are green, than maybe?! Green typically comes from added iron, passing thru quickly to where it doesn't have time to change brown, leafy greens and green or purple artificial coloring. If you have vomiting, diarrhea or cramping- call doc right away. Hope that helps.

Can tums cause this? I just realized that I been taking wintergreen tums and they are green?

Ive been taking Flintstone vitamins but been taking those my whole pregnancy I haven't had anything out of the ordinary that I can think of with me having gestational diabetes my diet is pretty limited

Im only 18w but asked my doctor a similar question. It could be just passing thru faster than normal. Did you start taking any new medications or vitamins? Mine changed because of the added iron. If it lasts another day or 2, Id call the doc just to make sure.

Mine is green cuz I take iron pills. So maybe ur taking in too much iron in ur diet
