umm fasle positive??

i took a pregnancy test this morning cause ive had the symptoms of being pregnant and the test i took was a first response gold the digital one and it said positive but is it possible/likely for it to be a false positive

False positives are very rare! But for your own sanity, I would say head to a clinic or your doctors office, and they can confirm it.

Sometimes false positives happen, if you've had a hcg trigger shot, that can mess with it, and your hormones out of whack!  I'd give your doctor a call to do a confirmation for you, or head into a planned parenthood or free clinic.
