It could also be the brand of condoms you or using or lubricant on the condoms. There
are certain brands that irritate me, but others don't. Perhaps just trying another brand would help. I believe you can find non-latex condoms at any drug store along with the latex condoms.
they make non-latex condoms I'm not sure where to find them but I'm sure you can research it and find a local place. If you go to something like Planned Parenthood they can give you VERY low-cost or sometimes free birth control :)
im actually allergic to condoms im trying to get on birth control, its hard because i dont have health insurance but thank you
Why your waiting, why don't you go out and get some condoms. That way if you are not pregnant, at least you won't find yourself in the same situation in the future.
Thank you for all your responses they were all helpful. I'm going to wait a week to take a test if i can deal with the anxiety until then. i'll let everyone know the result... btw today im very very nauseous today and still have cramps... we'll see what happens
I definitely agree with the other ladies. Plan B can mess up your cycles, but it's also not fool-proof. Also, during pull-out, sperm IS released, no matter how soon he pulls out. pre-c*u*m has more than enough sperm to get you pregnant, so it's not only NOT effective, it's pointless. May as well have full unprotected sex, unfortunately. Test 2 weeks after the last unprotected sex (pull-out method) like niki_beth said, and you should get an accurate result.
I agree with the other girls... plan b is not fool proof... you can still get pregnant even after taking the pill, and you could have also possibly gotten pregnant after the pill as well depending on whether or not you were ovulating and whether or not any sperm was released. Your symptoms could be related to pregnancy, or like the other women said could be related to stress or other medical issues. If you bled for 4 days after taking the pill my guess would be that your body started a new cycle... but no one but a Dr. can tell you for sure whats going on. I suggest you take a pregnancy test. As long as its been at least 2 weeks since you believe you may have conceived it should give you an accurate answer as to pregnancy.
Last year i took plan b and missed my period i was scared that i was pregnant so i took a test and and i wasnt. If you go to the website it will say that it can effect you period. So it could be that or you may be pregnant. Dont stress just get a test :) good luck
you can definitely get pregnant after taking plan B, i took plan B with my third pregnancy and ended up pregnant anyway. I had just gotten used to the idea and miscarried at 12 weeks. so if you are pregnant get checked out right away! Plan B does throw off you cycle though like k10road said so those 4 days of bleeding may have been the start of a new cycle or have just thrown things off. .
Plan B does not always work.
Any time you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant - and yes, after taking the pill you most definitely could have gotten pregnant.
My advice would be to get a reliable method of birth control if you don't wish to get pregnant right now. Condoms will work if that is all you can get, and they are definitely better than nothing (like the pull out method).
Plan B can mess up or throw off your cycle, so as far as when to expect your period, hopefully it is just on a new cycle. The things that you mention can be symptoms of pregnancy, but they can also be symptoms of many other medical issues.
Take a test if you think you might be pregnant. If you are concerned about the incident from three weeks ago, you should be able to test by now and see. And if the other incident was two weeks ago or longer, it would also show on a test by now.
Good luck and try to get some birth control going on so that you don't have this worry and so that you don't conceive a child that you don't want.
