treadmill speed...

What speed is a brisk walk on a treadmill I googled about walking in late pregnancy and it says walking only helps labor if your already effaced. Well luckily im 50% effaced. And I guess if a person is NOT effaced at all u will get contractions but once u stop moving so do those contractions.  Well I need to know speed of a brisk walk lol! Help ladies

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I think 5-7mph is brisk? 3-4 is a quick walk. Then most people walk 1-2 normally. But again, depends on you and your body. You should not feel like you're struggling to keep up at a brisk walk, you should feel a little pushed but not breathing super heavy after ten min. Hope that helps

I would think any speed as long as your heart rate doesn't get high and you don't get out of breath. You definitely don't want to over due it!
