Does anyone know if I can get my tubes tied after labor? Or how do I go about that?
In my state you must be at least 21 and have 3 kids to get your tubes tied. I think it's because they are scared women will regret their decision or something.
In my state you have to be 25 or have three kids I'm getting mine tied but I have to wait six weeks after birth unless I have a c-section
If you have a vaginal birth then you will need to wait before they did the procedure. If you were to have a csection then they are able to do it as soon as baby is out (thats what they did for my mom when she had my sisters). But yes your doc will be the best to talk to about it. Cus age, previous kids, and what not are a factor.
you would need to discuss it with your doctor. There are requirements for getting them tied from what I've heard.. age, number of kids you already have ect. Not positive but I couldn't imagine them doing it immediately after birth I would think they would have to wait until you heal?
