movement

so.... I will be 18 weeks tomorrow!:-) and Im pretty sure i havent felt any movement yet??... at night i lay on my back and try to relax to see if anything happens.. and im just not sure if i've felt anything yet? Should i start to worry? wouldnt i know if i felt it?

I'm the same way when I was only 10 weeks I bought boy and girl stuff....LOL....and as of now I'm getting on of each hope my they don't change their minds at the next appt. I've already went clothes buying crazy

Its soooooo unfair i wanna know now!!

I bought a beautiful little summer dress the other day but didnt wanna jinx it so bought a gorgeous little pair of jeans and a dinosaur t-shirt so i have one of each - my friend is due the day after me so im hoping we have one of each or il be taking my goodies back to the shops lol!!! Sad i know but i couldnt resist!!!!

I know how you both feel....I'm actually hoping to have the leaking soon as wierd as it sounds....maybe as a sign that I'll be able to BF....I'm so scared I won't make enough milk for 2 babies.  But sure am hoping....and I too found out the sexes early but have another u/s next Monday to make sure they were right....now that's if the babies cooperate.

I cant wait!! Im praying the umbilical cord is in the right place - if not i might be tempted to book one of those fan-dabby-dastic 4D scans!!

I love surprises when they take me by surprise but not when i know theyre coming! Thats just cruel! lol

yeah i know what you mean! I went crazy before i found out! I did find out a bit early, so when i go back for a checkup on the 2nd i may be having another anatomy scan..just to be sure its a boy! but from what i saw... it def looks like one!! lol

Me too - I didnt expect it til i was at least 5 months!!!

Find out the sex in 16 days time - im soo excited!!

At first i was positive its a little boy but now im not too sure!!

I would love a little girl!!! But then again id love a little boy too lol!!

I hate the waiting the suspense is killing me!!!

I felt baby at 13 weeks 6 days BUT when i went to the doctor last week he said im measuring at 19 weeks instead of 17 so.......... i may be a little further on than the scan suggested (Midwife advised to go by my scan dates but that i am measuring "on the larger side of average"

Bub moves constantly and its more like pokes and prods instead of the little fish like movements and flutters i felt a couple of weeks ago!! I love it!!!

My breasts started leaking colostrum last night - Have you experienced this yet???? I thought it was a little early but from what ive seen online its not unheard of at this stage

It is quite normal for some women not to feel movements until later...........like around 20 weeks or more.  Also your baby might do the most moving during the night when you're sound asleep.  I don't think you have anything to worry about--just hang tight:)

the doctor would tell you not to worry.  they say at this time the baby doesn't have a routine for movent yet.  i went all the way up to about 23 1/2 weeks before i could feel even a couple strong movements at a time.  i found out at an u/s at 24 weeks that my placenta is anterior and that's why i don't feel as much movement as i normally do at this time.

the times I feel my babies the most is after eating then I lay on my side...I don't feel my babies as much on my back....I wouldn't worry yet but when my babies move it feels like a gas bubble or butterflies in my tummy
