type 1 diabetic and 6 weeks pregnant
I have been a diabetic since I was 13. I am now 21 and married. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and I keep having severe low blood sugars that when I fix immediately sky rocket high. What can I do to fix this and how is it affecting my baby? Also this is my first pregnancy and I do not know what to expect
I have type 1 diabetes and had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy at 6 weeks due to the uncontrolled blood sugar levels. Im now 13 weeks pregnant and have been seeing a diabetic specialist since I was 5 weeks. Its very hard to be a pregnant diabetic but take your time and make sure your taking care of yourself.
