Ask your doctor. The internet Also says NO caffeine and NO seafood. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
I know smokers cant just quit automatically, but it bothers me when they dont even attmept to cut down on the amount so they can eventually quit
I smoked and drank before too. As soon as I found out I quit. I was actually a very heavy drinker and smoker (marijuana) & yes I know they are precautions. But I dont want to take chances with my babys health.
And about the smoking thing I as a smoker understand what it's like.... I'm not saying smoking is ok, but you also have to realize smoking is an addiction it's not just a bad habit, pregnancy totally messes with your hormones making things more stressful and therefore making smoking more difficult to kick, I got lucky I couldn't stand even the thought of a cig after 8 weeks so I got lucky and quitting wasn't difficult but its easier for some then others, they aren't bad moms, they hate it just as much as you guys
Your being over careful .... The majority of those are precautions, I ate everything, drank soda/ coffee, smoked and drank before I found out I was prego and even had a glass of wine every now and then, my baby is not only healthy but advanced for his age, its unethical to test mothers with everything during pregnancy so none of the facts are even proven. They are all just precautions, every doctor does everything different as well, do what you want and what your comfortable with but don't bash other mothers, its certainly not your place to judge
I was literally just talking about this lol. Especially when it comes to jump starting labor. Like the whole castor oil thing, I don't understand why people want to force their baby out. I want my daughter in as long as possible lol if it hasn't happened, baby obviously isn't ready. And castor oil seems so reckless and selfish to me.
On a lot of websites it says is not okay. So im not gonna take any chances.
Raw anything isnt good, even if its cured it is still raw, uncooked. Why you would want to take the chance is something i dont get but w/e
Yes no raw MEAT. Raw fish is different, the sushi chefs cure the fish to make it so it is not harmful to the body. Raw meat is not cured in any way that is why it is harmful.
Im sure its ok as long as you're drinking water also.
Im sure its ok as long as you're drinking water also.
I eat junkfood and drink soda but I drink a lot of water. I don't eat raw foods I don't like them lol. DRUGS ARE NEVER OK.
I was told absolutely no raw food, or undercooked meat (like med rare steak ect)
Thats nice to know @celi. Ive always been told its not okay to have but im gonna talk to my doc now because I love and Miss having sushi!
Considering most 12 oz of cola contains anywhere between 30-50 mg of caffeine yeah. Id say shes being very unhealthy with her pregnancy. Most doctors set a limit between 100-200mg a day at most.
Raw meat like pork or chicken on the other hand are never OK.
I think you are a bit over careful. My Dr said sushi (raw fish) is fine once a week as long as it's not shark. Same goes for cooked seafood too. Crab ship all that is fine. Also my Dr said 3-4 8oz cups of soda/coffee is perfectly fine for the baby. Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are never OK obviously.
I eat junk food too, with moderation. But too much caffeine can cause problems with pregnancy.
I have maybe one soda a day. Or every other day. But thats all she drinks. No water.
Well drinking soda isnt like drinking poison!!!
Now raw food is harmful and i agree shouldnt be eaten if your pregnant but soda and junk food wont hurt....
