I went in at 12weeks. ultrasound tech told me I am POSSIBLY having a...I left then I went back in a minute later cos I wanted a dvd done. baby was in perfect spot she said this time around that she is ADIMANT on what im having she explained boys and girls have different pelvic structure and she could see between the legs perfectly! ppl can get things wrong so im holding off before I buy baby clothes and stuff! :))
They told me boy at 13w. And confirmed it at 16w and 20w.
With my first i was told it was a boy at 13w 2d ..my obgyn then was really good and told me shes seen this for years n new it was a boy right away .. for this pregnacy witch is my 2nd the tech said lets wait till ur 15 weeks to c ... n resure it at 20 weeks so im kinda scared lol
Technically, it is possible. 13wks is the absolute earliest because all babies have ambiguous genitalia until 12w5d (all have a protrusion that looks like boy parts). I found out with both of my daughters that I was having a girl at 13wks. But that's only because I scanned myself (I'm an ultrasound tech). Truthfully, most techs don't reveal the gender that early because the baby is so small.
I got one at the 3d 4d place at 14w 6d they said I was having a girl im really excited because i have 2 boys go back to my dr the day before thanksgiving to have my 20 week scan to confirm I have been buying stuff but I also kept my receipts just in case it changes but she said she is sure its a girl
I was told at 13 weeks I was having a girl and the tech said she was 99.9% sure and even at a 20 week appointment they won't say 100%. She was really good at what she does and it was 3d/4d scan so it's definitely possible. At almost 36 weeks she's still a girl :)
They Can guess but they usually won't have an accurate answer till about 16 weeks
Okay, I'm really anxious to find out and so I thought there would be a chance to find out early. Hahaha I knw ladies have found out before too. Wishful thinking I guess. Thank you!
If you get a good ultrasound tech and its a boy, they may take a guess. If its a girl, its usually harder to tell. My ultrasound tech said she could guess and was "pretty sure she knew", but told me shed rather not tell at that point because some take thay answer and run with it, then get upset when its not the same a few weeks later.
