uhhh iron pills!

For the rest of my pregnancy I have to take iron tablets. My blood pressure and iron levels are really low so I had been feeling sooo light headed and that dragged the morning sickness on for longer. But the iron tablets are horrible! Number one side effect is constipation. So now I have pregnancy aches and pains AND constipation pain. Last night I got NO sleep. I was so uncomfortable.

On the plus side, my midwife has told me to increase my salt and fat intake.
Haha what a strange thing to say to a pregnant lady...

There is a liquid form of iron called floridex it doesn't give you the constipation affect that the pills do. I switched to that because I needed iron supplements but hate being constipated. Its about $50 for a 45 day supply

I'm on iron too, I take ferrets and they help so you don't get constipated you can get it over the counter

I take iron too ... I got fiber chews for pregnant women at target and I haven't had any constipation problems lol.
