I also had this happen about 3-4 weeks before I went into labor, it was the baby engaging and then after he had been like that for a week or so I started to dilate, and lose my mucus plug and such, it's normal but definitely tell your doctor and let him/her know so you don't go into labor too early!

Definitely a good idea to go in sooner than later to be checked. It's better to be safe than sorry and most doctors don't mind lots of questions, i'd call my OB and ask them to get you in like tomorrow. Good luck.

I would request to be checked at your next appoinment. Its better to be safe than sorry. If this is your first baby it is more than likely engaged already, meaning that the head is where it needs to be for the birth that can take place anytime now, although baby can be engaged for weeks before labor acaully starts.

That's totally normal. I just had my baby 7 weeks ago and I had the exact same feeling. It's annoying but it will all go away soon.

I ended up having my son 2 and 1/2 weeks early. I was 37 weeks. Good luck!
