ultrasound question

So Monday I'm finding out the gender of my child. Is it true if you drink a lot of orange juice that they will be able to see the baby more clear?

My dr said it was the acidity of the orange juice. I've also heard really cold stuff works too.

Orange juice gets them moving alot.,just be careful, if your baby already moves alot don't do it. Mine moves a ton and they had a hard time getting all the pictures they needed

Orange juice worked for me.. I had a glass before my scan (I'm obsessed with orange juice since being pregnant haha) and my little GIRL was so active... So the lady doing the scan could easily tell she was a girl cos she was moving around and changing positions alot.. I think it's the sugar in it so I'm guessing any sugary drink would work.. Good luck!! :) x

I was told to drink 32oz of water because having a full bladder will wake the baby and get it going.

yeah, ftm here too, but I think it's the sugar.. a girlfriend of mine from high school is pregnant with her 3rd, and she has ALWAYS drank some Mountain Dew before going in for her gender scans & she has ALWAYS been able to see the sex, no doubt!! lol (((:

I believe it's the sugar that just gets them moving so you might have a better chance of seeing, some baby's are shy :) (don't quote me, haha! FTM haven't had my gender scan yet) but that's what I've heard.
