Hey everyone just had my first doc appointment everything went very well. Was just wondering how many ultrasounds do they normally do during a pregnancy because I was told I would only get one at 20 weeks.

I had one at my first appt at 10 weeks then my anatomy scan at 18 weeks and don't think I get another one cuz I'm 29 weeks now and they haven't mentioned another one

I have one at each appt my doc is very caring every lady he attends he makes sure everything's ok even if it takes him an eternity he always greets both me and my hubby with such warmth even if his face is all disorted full of tiredness so yeah ive had  3 ultrasounds so far and im only 12+2w

I had one at 7 wks to confirm pregnancy and measure how far along I was since my periods are irregular. Then at 11wks I had another because the Dr couldn't find the hb with the droppler. Then my anatomy scan at 19 wks. Then emergency scan at 32wks. It all depends on your Dr.

I will be having 2 at mine not sure if they do one later on though. I'm 18w I had one at 10w to see baby, will be having one next week for gender scan. But like the first post said every doctor is different.

Most places only do 1 know unless something doesn't seem rite or u hav complications

Every dr is different.. I have had 6 but 1 was a 3D we did for fun. But I had one at 7 weeks due to cramping 8 weeks cuz that was supposed to be my first appt, 12 weeks cuz my dr wanted to do that one for fun also, and then another at 12 weeks because they did the test where they measure for down syndrome, and then I had one at 17 weeks for the anatomy scan.. That one is done anywhere from 18-22 weeks normally but I snuck it in a bit early :)

If there are complications though they will do more also.
