advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I just started a new job where I'm going to be on my feet for 8+ hours every day. I'm 20 weeks along, and today was my first day. My back, knees and feet are killing me. Any other working moms out there with advice on how to help these aches and pains?

For back pain, try getting a maternity support belt to wear while working. They do cut down on the pain. To help with the achy feet, try gel insoles. Both of these things helped me when I was pregnant with my daughter and working as a cosmetologist.

Thank you! It was a much needed job! I came straight home and took a like thirty minute shower and went to bed. You know, after crankily nagging my poor boyfriend. Between hormones and stress this is an interesting trip!

Yeah I agree on the toilet thing! Lol I've done that a couple times. If you've never had a job like that before, the aches will get a lil less annoying, but it can be a big pain in the butt at times. I love baths, they're amazing. When my feet get real bad ill soak them for hours.. my boyfriend rubs my back sometimes. The lil things help a lot.

First of all, I wanted to say congrats on the new job! Second, I wish I could help you, but I suffer the same thing! I'm 21+5 days and workin' 8 hours shifts, sometimes 5 hours If I get lucky and I'm always so achy and sore 'cuz I'm constantly walkin' and on my feet and my back always hurts. Right when I get home I literally go to bed or take a nap. Lol. If you can, try to take frequent breaks and sit down for a few mins.... even If your on the toilet, every min. helps! lol. It helps me for a lil' bit.
