food aversions during pregnancy

i am 18 i have a little boy of 1 and i am 14 weeks pregnant when i was pregnant with my first i had food aversions butt hey were not to a level were they were making me ill. but with this pregnancy i caan barely eat nything i basically living on crisps and fluid that all i feel so frustrated becuase i gettin so drained and i know i need to eat cuz of the baby developing properly i am going to call the midwife 2moz to see if she can refer me to someone cuz she was going to if it got worse which it has does anyone have any ideas to what they might do eg will they put me on drips and things to keep me up to a decent level with my vitamins and minerals.

im glad you spoke to your midwife at least you know now the baby will be fine with what your eating and i hope your sickness stops soon keep me posted on how you get on take care x

They couldnt give you any medication to help ease the nausea? I would go see a different doctor then.

yea i have spoke to midwife and that exactly what she sed i saw my gp today and she bsically told me i was a looney and it was all in my head i was absolutely disgusted but it nice to know there some one out there who had the same symptoms. i can only eat crisp and yoghurt lol.

i had all that when i was pregnant with my daughter i spoke to my midwife and she said aslong as i still drink my fluids and am able to eat something doesn't have to be a big meal aslong as it is something i ate fruit while i was pregnant and crisps thats all i could eat u could even try soup i know its not what you would like to eat but just try a wee bit of food at a time the baby will take what it needs speak to your idwife anyway she will give you more advice than i can keep me updated good luck x

i know that but i cnt eat if my body wont let me cuz i cnt swallow it i gonna speak to the midwife about it

ok i read it again well if u were that way with ur previous i was too first the first couple of weeks this pregnancy im fine eating everything well i think u need to eat that baby needs u to eat girl

wait do u have a baby already well with my son when i was pregnant with him i never ate it was too hard for me to eat but call ur doctor she should let u know as long as ur taking vitamins and eating something u have to eat something
