My husband and I were not expecting to be pregnant and got a shock of being pregnant. I am 5 weeks,  the dr said my hcg level was 42 three days ago is that bad? And I keep getting cramps is this normal?

I am still progressibg in pregnancy we are nervous because I could never carry before and now it feels so different but we don't get our first ultrasound until 11 week

I'm not 100% sure about the hcg level, but I know that there's a super wide range for what's "normal" so if your doctor didn't seem concerned, you probably shouldn't be either. 5 Weeks is really early (: I do know that I had cramps around werks 4-6 and occasionally afterwards, and everything was completely fine so even though they can be nervewrecking, they're nothing to worry about.
