Could I be 16 or 17 weeks pregnant?

I have had periods and my last one was very light. I have been on the nuvaring and I put it in a little late in December. I think I am feeling movements like fluttering and a rolling sensation at or just below my bellybutton. I have gained 6 or 7 pounds and I have a little belly but I could just be chubby. I also have larger sore breasts that feel full, now I am having tingling nipples with that "letdown" feeling I had when I breastfed my son 12 years ago. I took a test that was negative and I am embarassed to call the doctor if I am not pregnant. There are other symptoms like urinating every couple hours, low back pain, heartburn, and I was feeling neauseated a couple months ago where I would make a plate of food and then have to throw it away. Am I crazy for thinking I am pregnant?

The movements you may be feeling are most likely gas. The symptoms you are experiencing could be phantom symptoms or a sign of a hormonal imbalance. I don't think you shoudl feel crazy or stupid, though! I have been in your shoes many times, wondering about all these symptoms and crazy things my body was doing.

I'd definitely call your doctor. Perhaps your NuvaRing needs to be checked out.

Its unlikely you are more than 4 weeks pregnant if you had a negative test (and it was performed correctly).

Definitely call your doctor to find out what is causing your symptoms - they need to be investigated and there is no need to be embarrassed.

A "letdown" only  happens after baby is born - it is not a pregnancy symptom.
