Actually Ive had BV 3 times throughout every pregnancy and it most certainly can itch. Mine itched REALLY BAD so its different for everyone.
This to me sounds like a classic yeast infection which is very common during pregnancy. Monostat one day works pretty well but takes TWO full days to work.
Or your doctor can prescribe a tablet you take called diflucan.
BV does not itch and has a foul odor. This doesn't sound like BV. And a UTI hurts when you urinate and doesn't itch.
good luck
Ok I'll definitely do that thank you..
You should go to urgent care or the hospital if your doctor isn't doing anything. If it goes untreated it will just get more infected and it's very dangerous for you and baby
My Dr is really bad, he calls everything that's normal and I really am dying from how itchy it is (itchy pain) he did a swab test it called it normal for pregnant women, I want to slap him from how idiotic he is but I have 2more weeks I'm Dallas tx.. Monistat 7didnt work unfortunately what I have needs a higher remedy:( I've tried getting in the tub but that only works for that night then the next day its back again..
Idk which monistat u used but the 7 day is best, if that doesnt work, u may need an oral antibiotic. Cant u go to an urgent care??? I would if i couldnt get into a doctors office quick. I agree u need a correct diagnoses first though. If all else fails, u can try nayural remedies which work for me but not for everyone. Get a bottle of Braggs raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar and pour 2 cups in ur bathwater. Sit for 30 minutes. Will help balance things out and may help itching. Also, eat lots of activia yogurt. Drink water and pure 100% cranberry juice. Stay away from sugars. Good luck.
Sounds like BV or UTI. I had it with my last pregnancy and it was horrible
Which country are you in? But I agree you should get swabbed to make sure it is yeast infection
It may be another kind of infection. Bv or uti. You need to be swabbed! Its not good to not treat an infection especially while pregnant. Have you seen your Dr for this?
Is there a specific name for the cream or pill that I can try?
You can get yeast infection treatment over the counter, pessaries, creams and tablets
I'm already 37 going to 38 soon nobody will take me..
You need to switch doctors and get a second opinion! That sounds like a yeast infection
