venting

So everytime i go to the doctors they take my weight and last week i weighed 149 and they said i gained 5 pounds within a week which made me very angry. I get home and i weigh my self and i weigh 145 . I put a 10 pound weigh on my scale and it said 10 pounds. So i know its the doctor scale thats wrong! But they keep saying im gaining to much when there stupid scales a lier. -.-

I weighed today at the doctor office and it was only off by 1 pound. So I didn't complain. But I go back in two weeks and see my actual doctor and if she trys to say I've gained to much I'll go off on her and walk out and switch to a different doctor lol.

I have this same problem. Every time I go to the doctor its a different scale and a couple weeks ago ot said I gained 10 pounds in two weeks and I was like there is absolutely no way this is right.so I weighed myself when I got home and I had only gained like 3 pounds. Then when I went back to the doctor it showed the same ad my home results. Lol I was like I know I didn't gain all of this weight this fast considering I only gains 8 pounds the first 34 weeks of my pregnancy

My doctor makes shore he uses the same scales every appointment that way even if the exact weight is not right the different will b right. Eg my scales say I'm 74 kg and his say I'm 72 but if i only compare the waits from my scales against my scales i have lost 10.5 kg and if we only look at his scales reading iv lost 10.5 kg so even tho the figures aren't the same the weight difference ( in my case loss ) is the same. You should only ever compare weights using the same set of scales

Lol my old doctor would tell me the same thing that I'd need to cut it down on the salt when I totally stopped cooking with salt or adding it to my food she'd always tell me that but when I would actually eat salt they wouldn't metion nothing to me

My doctor does the same thing, and then tells me it's because I'm consuming too much salt and I have a lot of water retention. Isn't it good that I drink a lot of water! So I cut out salt unless is occurs naturally in the food which I can't control, and he said the same crap. I think these doctors are looking for textbook pregnancies, and it's really annoying.

I just now started checking my weight at home because my doctor brings up my weight as if I'm 600 ponds. I am heavy but I'm back down to what I was before I got pregnant.

I had that happen too! My doctor thought I'd gained too much too fast, it was 6 lbs in 4 weeks, but when I got home, I weighed the same as I did at my 12 week appointment! Now, at 19weeks+5 I have gained 2 lbs since the 16 week check up.
