very upset!

I'm at my monthly OB appointment, and this is the THIRD time they've did a "surprise" glucose test and I'm only 21 weeks. I passed the other 2, even though they didn't tell me to fast so I don't understand why I'm doing it again. I'm so mad that I don't know whether to cry or cuss them out!

Maybe they have done it early bc of the high risk of your disease...but a surprise test is crap, what if you craved something sugary before the test, i occassionally have a donut for breakfast, my doc clearly warned me to just eat a normal bf before the test!

Probably. I have it really bad in my family. This time they only did it at 26w. I'm sorry you've had so many! I gag and dry heave while drinking it and puked after the one with my daughter. Lol.

I'll do that. They're probably testing me so much because of diabetes that runs in my family.

I had one at 18w with my dd and they scheduled one at 25w that they cancelled bc I did pass the first test and the only risk factor I had was diabetes in my family. I wasn't overweight. But it could be that they aren't recording in your chart that you've taken it. Speak with your ob and ask how many more and why.

I've lost 30 pounds this whole pregnancy...and I'm not so plus-sized where people are like "OMG". I just don't understand why they keep testing if I pass all of the tests. It's ridiculous. I'm going to throw up the nasty orange syrup stuff on them the next time they test me and then laugh at them.
