i kept hope all along but im sposed to be 9weeks now,an this week it still measured 5mm- 6weeks,no heartbeat,he said he couldnt even make out what the little "nub" was, there was no growth in the week and now the sac is starting to loose shape and the shadows on the ultrasound show that its starting to come away, so now im just waiting to see if miscarriage happens on its on, i still have nausea which is driving me crazy but i think its due to how strangely high my HCG levels are :(
alana dont give up hun theres always HOPE! our baby measured 6 weeks and 6 days last thursday and there was no heartbeat, im going in again tomorrow to see if there is one and il be 7 weeks and 6 days. i feel pregnant had no symptoms what so ever of miscarridge absolutely nothing! I am going to request a scan every week and carry on and if it happens it happens as i dont believe the doctors! ive read lots of things on net. 1 woman was told to have a d&c at 8 weeks or her health would suffer and her husband said no if its gna happen it will be naturally. they found a heartbeat for the 1st time at 10 weeks! and now hes 10 year old. same happened with her second child. doctors are just people they dont always get it right. my friend went in with a lump on breast and they said it was a harmless cyst, she got a second opinion later and it was type 3 breast cancer. they dont always get it right! take onboard what they advise but decide for yourself. dont give up hope!

well my final blood result was 107000 so it went back up slightly, but i was sent for another ulltrasound yesterday and nothings changed. he said the sac looks like its starting to deflate and come away and theres no change to the little growth in there, so again now its just a waiting game. they still dont have an answer as to why my HCG levels were so incredibly high tho! Well atleast we know now and can move on I guess :(
All im gonna tell you is not to give up hope, keep going back like i did, because they were telling me the same thing about D&C and i was not trying to hear that ****. Now im 25wks pregnant with a healthy baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s. oh did i mention im 40. lol] just don't give up.
You are right, thats not that uncommon. i hope that is the case for you but generally with hcg as high as yours, you would expect to be able to see a fetal pole and hb. The decline in the hcg is more the concern as at 6 weeks you wouldnt see that as your numbers generally peak around 9-11 weeks then start to decline. On that note, i haave rea stories about people having a drop in hcg then an increase on the next draw. Its uncommon but can be related to a vanishing twin (where one twin passes). With hcg that high and only the slight drop it wouldnt be too surprising. I hope your next draw goes well, wait it out a but if you are not showing any signs then request another us
iv heard of alot of people having an ultrasound and showing no heartbeat and measuring 6wks then goin back in 2wks and it being there, I guess im just being hopeful, iv had no bleeding or cramping or an symptoms so its all a bit bizarre, I still feel sick,my breasts still hurt. I think the worst part is just no knowing for sure either way!
They are quite high for an early pregnancy, if you were further along like 10-12 weeks then you would expect them to start to taper down slightly. The numbers dont always drop off dramatically during a miscarriage. They r more likely to be crawling down if you still have the tissue in you. It can take a couples weeks for numbers to crawl down even after the tissue is out. When i had my miscarriage, i had a d&c to remove it and i took 1 week and a half to get back to under 5 from 5000.
It could take a couple weeks at this point for your body to realize the pregnancy is noonger developing and for you to start passing it or it could happen rather quickly.
Im really sorry for your lost
sorry numbers were 109000 then 106000
