thanks to all of you wonderful ladies for the advise and good luck to all of you who are trying to conceive
thanks for the info i havent really had a cycle since before i got pg with my son and he is 2 1/2 now but we are taking it day by day
I had mine out in April and we didn't really try until June. I got pregnant in August (a friend of mine got pregnant on a similar timeline). So, not a very different story there. But, remember that the typical statistic is that even with timed intercourse, the chances of conception and implantation is only something like 25% so trying for 1 month of trying isn't giving yourself much slack. Good luck!
I Had my mirana removed may of '11 and i concieved in september. However my mirana was removed due to health problems caused By the BC. I am now Two months prego. My advice is to keep trying. Good luck!
It varies from woman to woman, honestly. It can take a normal, healthy couple up to 2 years to conceive naturally. Some women conceive within a month or two of trying and other women end up trying for years. I had a friend who got pregnant her third cycle off of the mirena, and then it took a relative of mine an entire year to get pregnant after the mirena, and she had no periods while on it.
Something else to keep in mind is that anytime you come off of birth control, it can take up to a year for your cycle to regulate itself and get back to normal. Try not to stress if it isn't happening soon enough. I know how it is! It took me 14 months to conceive my daughter.
Hey Jana when I got my Mirena removed to conceive our son I had a full period and then got pregnant. So, the second month I was pregnant cause my cycle had to regulate. All women are different. But, I would say try not to stress if you had no cycles on mirena like me or they were irregular. Let your body get back to normal. Good luck!!
An average couple will take upwards of 1-2 years to conceive naturally. Regardless of how fast you have gotten pregnant in the past, later pregnancies take more time.
