Most midwives are neonatal certified. And I agree, It's not for everyone, but It's great for those who do decide It's best for them
Believeinyou I understand for many it's safe, but as an RN to me it's not safe unless I have immediate access to an OR a blood supply and a team of people trained in neonatal resuscitation.
And talk to a good midwife to ask lots of questions
With a good medical staff a home birth is safe. Anyone interested in it should definitely do some research.
I would love too but tricare doesn't cover it and if your military you have to get special approval from the commander. Plus I have gbs and my doctor advised against it
I plan on having a natural birth, but in a hospital. I am not for home births at all as there are too many unknowns for me to consider that a safe option.
Absolutely! Natural is the way to go!! There will be so many healthy benefits for you and baby. And don't think that natural birth is too hard. As women it is something that we are for sure able to do. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!
I had a water birth. It was really calming
I had a water birth with my first and plan to with this one. It's so amazing!
My last was a water birth and we plan this one to be... by the way there is nothing unnatural about water birth... it requires no medical equipment or medications.. plus baby is in warm fluid now and if you deliver in warm water the baby is not forced through a small hole directly into cold air... it gives them a minute to recover from the trauma of birth before they enter a entirely new environment.. plus it helps with your pain and is awesome.
Im having a water birth hopefully if everything goes to plan
Ive always wanted a water birth
I've said since s child I would have a water birth
