I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. When I bent down to get my dog some liquid came out from down there. when I checked, my underwear and shorts were wet. I know I didn't pee cause I clearly felt it come out from the other area but could it just be discharge or could I be leaking. ?

Yup! On apr 17 this yr lol. It really isnt so bad and honestly hollywood goes a little overboard with their dramatizations

Thank you! I've heard that they are the worst /: have you been induced before.? None of my family members have so they can't really give me any peace of mind on what I will be going through /:

Good luck with your induction momma! Pitocin contractions are awful,  but once baby is in your arms you forget I promise! And it happens to the best of us.

Oh okay! Yeah I had smelled it and it had a slight smell to it. I'm sorry I'm a first time mom and panic about everything lol I'm being induced Sunday so I was hoping i could be going into labor on my own. The leakage hasn't come back so I assume it was just a really bad watery discharge /:

Smell it. You'll definitely know the difference. Pee has ammonia, waters doesn't normally have a specified smell to it.

Its sounds like discharge, but if youre worried heres what the hospital and drs office both had me do all 3xs I had this happen.

Lay back.  Cough hard 3x. Sit up. If fluid rushes out it's your water. If not, its discharge or pee. It should also be bigger than a round spot. It should be enough it could steadily fill a pad.

I checked and there's like a little wet spot. Now I'm starting to get like light cramps

Is it still coming out? Akso dont rule out peeing. Babies do make you incontinent this far along.
