When you are leaking fluid is it normal for it to be a bit thick. Clear but thick or is always real runny like actual water. I keep leaking and I don't know if its just EXTREME discharge or my water. I have changed my panty liner like 3 times in 4 hours

You can just wait for your appointment honestly she'll most likely send you to labor and delivery so they can test it and see if its amniotic fluid

I'm 38 weeks I have my appointment today in 2 hours. If I didn't I would have went in. And ive been having mild contractions all morning. She's doing a membrane sweep today.

Definitely call doctor. If you can't do that go straight to labor and delivery and they will contact your doctor fur you :-)
