water broke at 30 weeks

I will be 31 weeks tomorrow and my water broke yesterday mixed with blood. Has anyone gave birth before 34 weeks? How was the baby? Was he/she healthy? & how long it took to take the baby home?

My brother was born at 26 weeks he was hospitalized for 4 months and had some fluid on the brain but you cant tell it by looking at him. He is 31years old now and living a perfectly normal life my father in law was also born three months early and is just fine. You baby may need a ventilator to helo him/her breath for a while cause the lungs may be a little week but they should be ok after a short hospital stay. I will pray for you and your little one. I had a friend who had her baby at 31 Weeks. She had no major health problems but they did keep the baby at the hospital for about a month just to monitor growth and make sure everything was developing fine. But everything worked out great. Good luck

My First child was born at 32weeks healthy stayed in NICU for 6weeks just to get his weight up...now in pregnant with twins 27weeks and they trying to make it early also hope not NICU visit ain't No joke

My sister did this Friday. She was 31 weeks. Baby is small but doing good. The hospital she's in will be keeping baby till at least the due date so 9 weeks :(

The lady I nanny for has twins that were born at 29 weeks. I think one stayed in the nicu for four weeks and one for eleven weeks. They are both perfectly healthy eleven year olds now. She had a placenta abrubtion with the boy twin

I would say he/she would have no major complications, maybe hospitalized for a while. My partner told me him and all his sisters were 8-10 weeks early and they are all fine.I guess if it was me I would be thinking the same as you too. I'm sure everything will go great!
