weight gain?

I'm a ftm and I will be 33 weeks tomorrow. How much weight are you supposed to gain in the entire pregnancy??  Right now I have gained 38lbs that seems like a lot to me but every time I go to the doctor they say everything is great and normal.

I'm 5ft 10 weighed 126lb my bmi was 19 so I was really slim before pregnancy. At my 24week check up I'd gained 19lb and I have my 28week check up next week, everyone says I have a small bump considering I'm 7months preg. I just hope I can shift the extra weight when baby is born.

I'm 30w+4D & i have only gained all together so far 9 pounds, but my belly looks like I've gained so much more! All pregnancys are diff i guess depending on wat ur weight was in the begining and in the begining of mine i lost a lot of weight before i gained.

I am 27 + 5 and have gained about 16 pounds. I was told any where between 25-35 was good for the average person. A little more if you were super tiny before getting pregnant like me, or a little less if you were a heavier before hand.

It can differ dramatically for each person.
So its hard to set an amount.
With my first two i was between 25-30 at the end.
And so far with this pregnancy I have only gained 10 pounds I'm 24 weeks tmrw.
