weight limit

I haven't talked to my doctor yet.. I plan on asking next time I go in, but I was wondering if I have a weight limit on how much I can lift or if it just something people say. I read up that if you are used to lifting things then you are fine but I'm not sure.

P.s. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and so far everything is going well no complications.

As a general guideline they say don't lift more than 20 pounds. It can put stress on you and baby. It can also hurt your back.
