Well pre pregnancy I was 165 and I lost 8 lbs in my first trimester now at 29w5d I'm 166.8 so yeah
I guess only reason you might need a c section were to be if there were something medically wrong.
Did ur Dr say anything to you about the weight? If not u have nothing to worry about...
My cousin gained 70 pounds and She pushed
well so far everything has been great. i passed my glucose test, my blood pressure is always fine, the baby is measuring & doing good. so nothing is wrong im just confused as to why i gain so much when i eat healthy and exercise. ofcourse i slip every now and then and eat junk food but its only once in a while.
Some people just gain a lot of weight for some weird reason. It's the way your body is made,
the dr only told me once in my 2nd trimester. but now she says its fune
I weighed 110 lbs before my first pregnancy and before giving birth I weighed about 180.
I weighed 134 in the beginning and I'm 29 weeks tomorrow and have gained 32 pounds already. My old doctor said to slow down. My new doctor also said to slow down but then my last appointment a week ago he told me my weight and the baby's weight is good! I could have better eating habits but I overall eat healthy so I'm suprised too it just keeps going up and up!
I retained A LOT of water with my first. Maybe a lot of your weight is water weight.
A woman's metabolism changes during pregnancy, and not all weight gain is baby or fat a lot it could be water weight too. But weight gain shouldn't affect your ability to have a vaginal birth. If the doctor is not concerned by your gain then medically you have no reason to be concerned. The question will just be your comfort/confidence after birth, and there is no way of know how easy/difficult it will be to get back to what you personally want to be at. I've gained 25 pounds and am only 24&5 but I don't feel bigger all over so if I stay like that after birth it won't bug me I'm still confident I can be attractive
I was 114 before I was pregnant and now I am 130. I am 34 weeks.
I weighed about 167 before getting pregnant. I'm 24 weeks and weigh about 178 I thought I wasn't gaining enough weight but my Dr said I'm fine and baby is fine
