When does the umbilical cord fall off from the belly button?  I haven't had her yet but I was just wondering.

I think that's great! I definitely want to save all of her first things. My mom made me.a babys 1st book! I'm 37w and I'm so excited!  I just want her to come already. But I know she'll come when she's ready!

Same here I have all the hospital bracelets for myself amd my son . And the onsie the hospital put him in when he was just born .

I saved my daughters i don't care if its weird I actually know aloot of ppl who saved it!! I saved her lil tiny bracelet n a lot of other lil things n doing the same for bby #2. :)

I saved the stump because by the time its dried out its just a clip like its not a lot like what you would think lol wrap it and put in a keepsake box or baby album book . Your babys pediatrician will keep an eye on it .

Ok. My friend had her baby and said it fell off in pieces then all of a sudden got infected? But yea I heard it was gross. Lol and my fiance keeps saying he wants to save it. Aha

Some doctors will say to do it & some are against it because the alcohol is drying it out but not necessary because it dries out on its own .

Really!!! Weird I had my baby 4 months ago and they said to use the little alcohol wipes

My sons fell of no longer then a month later . Just be careful with it they don't reccomend putting alcohol on it amymore just gently cleaning with water . And make sure not to pick or peel even if its falling off let it come off on its own
