Do orgasms make you speed up dilation because its the contracting of the vagina muscles?. Or do they make you lose your mucus plug faster or does it do anything?

Its meant to help start labour somehow i dont no how though, i do know an orgasm is good for the bby as it gets your blood flowing faster which provides lots more oxygen to bby, i can personally say it started my labour with my 2 children , just hoping it works again im due in 2wk & im going insane with waiting !

It contracts the uterus which can kick off labour if your body is ready and whe you orgasm you release oxytocin (a happy hormone) which is also necessary for labour to start, it also helps with uterine contractions. When breastfeeding you release it too, which is why feeding is a good way to encourage your uterus to contract back to its normal size.

I have heard that it can speed it up. The sperm is said that it can thin out your cervix. I have also heard that you can have sex, & if you have an orgasm it will make you have contractions if you are far enough along...but I think it really depends on every situation. Good luck!
