what am i leaking?
Im due tomorrow. Im leaking clear fluid that trickles down my leg and fills up a pad. I have been tested for amniotic fluid twice and its been negative. There is no smell or color and it is just like water. What the heck is it?
Have them check cause mine was the same way it's a 10 minute test that they have to do so if that's not what they are doing in l&d then raise hell cause I hadn't had that one done until the day I thought it broke and it had so be safe then sorry and good luck hun

that sounds like the start :) keep active and upright and let gravity help get the contractions started :)
I think ive started contracting. It started with cramps and now very gentle pressure accomanied by nausea, backache, and the runs. Not sure yet though..
you probably have a slow leak, once your waters have broken, as long as they are clear, you basically have 24 hrs for the contractions to start on there own, then they will induce you, this is to lesson the risk of infection, same reason for no sex or baths until contractions have started, as long as baby is head down and not floating some engaged somewhat your ok as well, if baby is not head down or engaged at all then you should go back to the hospital as the cord could prolapse, otherwise you should be ok to go for the 24 hrs :)
My cuzin too but she never knew her water broke while showrring she was 36w. And idk how it all happened i just kno that her baby died cuz it didnt have any fluids or anythibg it was to late but if i wer u i wud go to the doctor seems like u got a bit of time maybe rest nd then in the morning go if u have to lie nd say u kno yur water broke i wud rell them so they can really check me lol
My fiance is tired of false alarms. We have a long drive to the hospital and littlw money for gas. I have been monitored and had an ultra sound. Baby looks fine. Im just confused and curious!
Its ALWAYS. worth being sent home. Just a lesson i learned from a close family member, not in anyway to scare you pr put bad thought on you but it is better safe than sorry and pregnancy causes such weirs things to happen. My cousin lost her baby at 37 weeks because what the doctors told her was fine was not. If it was me, id go back in and demand an explanation and an ukyrasound if they couldnt give me one. If it is filling up a pad i would definitely go back in.
Yea I agree with the above post. Don't wait to long tho. My mother fell asleep while pregnant with me, and she leaked the whole night and didn't realize it until the morning when her contractions started. I was barely alive when she gave birth. I had no fluids and wasn't breathing air. ( Unfortunately I have bad asthma) Don't want to scare you, just want you to be cautious and careful! but good luck. I am heading to bed, so Hopefully in the morning, we can hear good news that you are in labor or had your baby!
that really sounds to me like your waters have gonem as long as they are clear your ok and hopefully the contractions will start within 24 hrs, if not go back to the hospital again :), no sex and showering only at this point, until contractions start :)
Ive been tested twice and they sent me home. Here i am leaking again and im just not even going to try.
I'm a ftm but when my sisters water broke they told her she just peed (i smelled her panties, gross i know, and it was not pee). I made them check again like 2 times and they told me i was insane and there was no need for it. But they checked again and I obviously wasn't insane because her water did indeed break.
