what are chances of having subsequent blighted ovum?

my first pregnancy was terminated as no heart baet was traced..doc said that it was an empty gestational sack. i was operated with d&c after opinons from three diff. docs.

now i have missed my periods by three days , there is  very very very faint line...i am very nervous ,and a lot stressed. please help me.will i again have blighted ovum or other chances of losing pregnancy ?

My doctor told after my blighted ovum that it is very rare for it to happen again. He said either the egg or sperm chromosome levels were either missing or not complete. After my d&c, I got pregnant 5 months later and had a beautiful baby boy. Good luck!

It's hard to answer that question but many Dr s say most women will miscarry their first child...I had a brightened ovum in Oct of last year and now im currently 24wks pregnant with a little girl so all I can say is good luck and staying positive is one of the best ways to have a positive outcome to a new pregnancy
