i asked my doctor about that because its gotten way worse since i was 24 weeks pregnant and he told me its from how the baby is laying on the inside and if they lay a cretin way it could cause that type of pain. it has not gotten any better for me. i hope it gets better for you hun. its also because your baby is laying on a nerve that causes that.

I have sharp pains sometimes also, it feels like something is poking a needle through my cervix, my doctor said its normal. As always, if you are concerned you should speak with your doctor. Good luck.

My babys feet are right above my cervix (I had an internal cervical u/s last week and saw the little feet) so my pain might be caused by him kicking me in that area.

As long as there is no bleeding you should be fine. Try and relax as much as possible this weekend but definitely bring it up with your dr at your appt Monday. You could take tylenol for the pain though but I have been having some sharp stabbing pain today also and tons of braxton hicks contractions.
