what do contractions feel like ?

I'm 37 weeks and I have ALOT of pressure and I do have painful cramps that do kinda feel like period cramps but there not long or consistent ? How do I know when it's real ??:(

Contractions make ur stomach really hard and they will get closer together and more intense

Real Contractions will be in lower back area and they will be painful

I know I was wondering the same. When I'm hurting my mom asks me if i'm having contractions and I'm just like i have no idea mom i dont even know how they feel.

Hi there when it's real it will be consistent and they will be about 3-5 mins apart. You are probably just having Braxton hicks or pre labor cramps. Good luck ladies!
