what does mucus plug look like?

Ive always had discharge. So how will I know if it's the mucus plug??

My water broke the day I had mucus plug coming out maybe like 5 hours after. But it is clear and very slimy

I have always had discharge too I am slowly loosing my plug now. I have been loosing my plug for at least a week now the difference I noticed is that my discharge had a white color and my mucus plug is clear and thick. I only have been loosing it mainly in the morning when I pee for the first time after waking up. I hope this helps you sorry for the graphic details.

Its not like ur discharge.  I literally looks like a glob of snot. Like a gooey mucus. I lost mine a few weeks ago I wiped an when I looked there was a big glob of gooey stuff on the toilet paper. U can google it to get a better picture.
