what does the mucus plug look like?

Hey everyone. Im currently 38weeks pregnant with my first. When i went to the toilet yesterday i noticed a lump of jelly like discharge. It kinda looked and had the same texture as snot and odourless. Could this be my mucus plug? There was no blood so im kind of confused.j Also after that i havnt had a watery discharge like i used to. Before i had a heavy watery discharge throughout my pregnancy but now its just a little bit. Does anyone know what it could be? Could it be a yeast infection?

yep I lost mine for weeks and weeks. You'll have your baby in the next few weeks hun :D make sure now you rest lots and enjoy your own time.before baby arrives as it is tiring. Amazing but tiring so relax as much as yu can :)

Hi..

I was in slow labour for a wk with my daughter and throughout that wk I was slowly losing the "plug" that's exactly what It looked like to me but with a little bloody. Not a pretty sight, but a good sign. May not mean labour will happen straight away, but It's not far off. If you're concerned maybe have a word with the midwife/GP. Good luck! :-)

Yes thats ur plug. Ul keep losing more. I never had any blood in mine until the day before i gave birth. X
