So I'm 7 wks pregnant with my 2nd child. Today when I went to the bathroom and wiped I noticed some brown tinged discharge. Not a lot, and then the next time I went to the bathroom after that I had about a pinhead sized spot of the same discharge. That was this afternoon. I've had nothing else the rest of the afternoon/evening. I'm not sure what it was. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I had that same discharge and I went to the ob and she told me its my body wanting to start its period but stopping it. She said its compketely normal and not to worry u should be fine. I'm 7wks too :)

If you had intercourse...that can happen...your cervix is engorged and sensitive. its pretty common the first trimester...but if your ever worried call your drs and ask them...thats why they make the big bucks :)

Sounds like old blood from implantation.  Just keep an eye on it.  I had spotting during my whole first trimester and I now have a happy and healthy 14 month old baby girl.  I know it's alarming when you see it.  Good luck and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

At 7 weeks your baby is the size of a pea. Try not to stress as its not healthy for you and your baby. When in doubt, go to your obgyn asap just to stay on the safe side. Good luck :)
