what should I put on my registry?

Is it appropriate to put more expensive items on the registry? I have put a little baby bath and things, a boppy pillow, burp cloths, etc. partially so I can remember what I wanted. What do i really need to put on there?  Are things like sheets and decor appropriate? I feel so selfish putting things on there like "hey family buy me this!!!!"

If money is tight and you dont get everything you wanted/needed, consignment shops are great. Garage sales (I got a swing for $5!) Check eBay/online!

I'm adding the big stuff on mine. We're broke and currently homeless so I'm not shy asking for help lol. We literally have a $60 pack n play and that's it. Basically relying on the baby shower... I feel so worthless but it's a bunch if baby stuff OR food right now, so I gotta eat. :\ I actually want to start my registry soon! I'm 24 weeks. :)

Ppl will group together if it is expensive. Like my aunts did a pack n play. And my best friend and her FAM did car seat and stroller. My work did a jumper thing. Its your baby! Its about whatever you want for your baby!

I had a almost 200 dollar pack and play on there and didnt expect to get it because I think it was the most expensive thing.  Well his aunt that couldnt have kids likes to spoil and bought it for us.

I think it's okay to register for whatever you want or think you may need. Just because you registered for it doesn't mean you'll receive it. I think of it like a wish list almost.  Whatever i don't receive at the shower i can go back and look at my registry and make the call if it's worth it to me to get. Happy shopping :)

I put a stroller and car seat set on mine that cost 130 and I ended up getting it dont be afraid to put what you need on there its not selfish its what the registry is for lol
