what should i expect?

tmrw i have my glucose test and another iron test....im 28wks today...but i was just wondering, other than those two things, what should i notice now at this point in my pregnancy? extra weight gain? growth?

I just did mine Monday. The glucose syrup was HORRIBLE!!! It tastes like way to thick, flat, orange soda. I thought the worst part was going to be the sitting around and waiting but it was definitely the glucose drink. Yuck.

I was told in both pregnancies not to fast before the one hour glucose. You do fast for three hour, or so I've heard. But I just had my one hour yesterday and I had an egg sandwich and water. Ill get the results probably next week. If your doctor didn't say to fast, then you shouldn't. But you could call when they open and ask to be sure.

My sis in law is the same boat as u she 8months and weights 117 she due dec 13th but I think he will be here end of nov

idk why they scheduled my appointment so late in the day! i have to eat before i go! at least breakfast! lol. my little boy moves around nonstop...and actually im watching his feet go across my stomach right now! lol im about to head to bed, (which is when he is seriously the most active!!!!) but i havent been gaining any weight. :-/ my appetite lately *****

Dont eat before u go do ur test they dont want u to eat until after they are done but for me I pass with both my boys but the rest of the day I felt crappy good luck;)

U shud expect u belli to b growing.. stronger n frequent movements... Bigger appetite...but every women.. n pregnancy is different

Im not sure how long after the first one that they do the second, but I know the second one lasts 3 hours instead of 1.

I had mine last week, I have gained 30lbs and I wasnt small to begin with. But they checked my bp and its perfect and I dont have gestational diabetes. I am anemic though so I am taking supplements I started today. At that visit my doctor asked me how I felt and if I had any swelling. She asked me if I was feeling the baby often. She checked his heart beat and measured. Its pretty routine.

i have my glucose test around 1ish...my appointment with the doctor is at 12:45, so afterwards i do the glucose. but im going to watch what i eat tmrw morning. i dont want to fail. if i failed, when do they normally do another glucose test?

and i havent gained any weight in 6 weeks...i started at 108lbs and i stopped gaining once i hit 122lbs...i have a hard time gaining weight.

I'm 28 weeks too. I've noticed my belly getting quite big. I am still at 15 lbs weight gain. I already took my glucose test (and failed) so I had to take a 3 hour glucose test (and got a borderline) so I have to take ANOTHER  3 hour glucose test in a week. Blah! I'm also anemic and taking extra iron. Hope this helps :)
